Dr. Erin Clarke, a 2016 graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM), brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for equine health to the prairies. Her journey began with a rigorous one-year internship at Oakridge Equine Hospital in Edmond, Oklahoma—a dynamic referral and primary care surgical practice specializing in sports medicine.

Following her internship, Dr. Clarke joined Moore Equine Veterinary Centre in Calgary, Canada's premier equine veterinary practice. For eight intensive years, she honed her skills alongside a diverse team of specialists, gaining invaluable experience in advanced equine care.

Now, Dr. Clarke is thrilled to return to her prairie roots, bringing her expertise to the local horse community. While she enjoys all aspects of equine medicine, her heart lies in sports medicine, where she strives to optimize the performance and well-being of equine athletes.

We are dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care for your equine companions. Our services encompass a wide range of needs, ensuring your horse's health and well-being at every stage of life.

Dr. Clarke is currently ambulatory, offering services on-site or meeting at a local arena. A permanent clinic is planned for the future to provide outpatient services.

    • We take a comprehensive thorough approach to evaluating your equine athlete including in motion exams, flexions, ridden exams and palpations. Then use our range of diagnostic tools to localize and properly diagnose any issues your horse may be having. From there we develop an accurate treatment plan to return your horse to its full potential.

    • We also offer prepurchase examinations if you are looking for your next horse.

    • Ultrasound

    • Digital Radiography (x-ray)

    • Upper Airway Endoscopy 

    • Gastroscopy 

    • We offer both routine and advanced treatment modalities and have a good understanding of surgical referral options when surgery is necessary.

    • Joint injections

    • Regenerative therapies such as Prostride, PRP and more

    • Intralesional tendon and ligament therapy

    • Please call our clinic number after hours for emergency services. While we do our best to provide reliable emergency services keep in mind that at this time we are a solo entirely ambulatory veterinary practice. We are only able to provide emergency services within one hour of our home. At times we may be in other areas of the province and ask you to contact your local veterinarian.
